End-of-life care after the legal introduction of advance directives (AD) in Italy
Advance care planning and advance directives (AD) play a key role in the care of life-threatening illnesses such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Professor Cipolletta from the Department of General Psychology of the University of Padua (Italy) has conducted a study to explore how the introduction of ADs by law improves the experience of end-of-life care.
