Research area: Currently, Prof. Mariaelena Tagliabue works at the Department of General Psychology, University of Padova. Her main areas of interest covered the fields of Cognitive Psychology, Cognitive Science, Experimental Psychology, and the application of this knowledge to the topic of road safety, in the field of Traffic Psychology. Her current project is 'Risk perception, cognition and road safety”.
List of research areas: traffic psychology; driving ability and risk perception; spatial attention; coding of the spatial dimension of the stimulus; Simon effect; selective attention and interference between non-spatial features of the stimulus; executive functions.
