Research area:

- Investigation of body image in multiple contexts and populations (e.g., general population, athletes, people with medical conditions and chronic illnesses).

- Investigation and reduction of psychological risk factors for body dissatisfaction and Body Image Disorders (e.g., Eating Disorders and Body Dysmorphic Disorder).

- Development and evaluation of innovative and evidence-based psychological interventions to reduce body dissatisfaction and promote a positive body image.

- Promotion of a positive body image by means of new methodologies and intervention techniques (e.g., physical activity, nature exposure, writing exercises).
